Another long update
What a week! Ok, firstly let's start off with um... Thursday. Yea, Interesting day-of-the-week #1.
It was finally KTV day, and although Neighbor went, he was in a rather odd mood (later discovered he was sick...). And anyway, Lyn went along as well. For those who knows Lyn, this probably doesn't come as a shock. Like, super enthu social butterfly. In a good way of course. That girl is forever cheerful that way. Which brings a nicer angle to my life... Anyway, the KTV was a blast. Pity that place didn't have a good repertoire of English and Japanese songs (no I wasn't expecting Gazette, but they didn't even have Ayumi... the horror), so I didn't sing much (of course I sang for this very happy random Chinese song and One Night in Beijing). I only sang when Lyn needed someone to accompany her for her (what else?) Stefanie Sun's song. Realized there are hidden talents in the cave. Parrot was so noisy, randomly singing songs, but not as noisy as um... haha, think only Lyn and I find it noisy, so I wouldn't bother spelling it out, since you never know who's reading... (I discovered the identity of ubd and I'm still shocked, mind you ;D) Eva was also fun, can't really imagine a prim and proper looking girl like her would go KTV. That place was cool, technology-wise. Like smoke, disco lights (that gives seizures), etc. But don't eat the Suki-yaki. It's horrible... Hm, but I guess must thank Igny and Parrot for being the buffer between Teddy and Neighbor >D Wish I didn't have to leave so early... *sigh*
Anyway, Interesting day-of-the-week #2, Friday. It's the first time I went for a lesson as a non-student. I'm not a lecturer, just a helper (I wasn't exactly needed, just went for the thrill of it) The kids were cool, one of them even called me "Lao Shi" (means teacher in chinese, see, I'm not that bad after all). I realized I only notice my juniors after working. More lunch buddies. Haha. Which would come in useful when Chiny and gang leave on 31st May. Parrot would be leaving then too, not sure if it's a good or bad thing. But still. Almost went drinking with Parrot and Lion, but my neck itched as if reminding me of last weekend's horrific episode. And I missed my hamsters and ルル。ミクル is pregnant. I think. Intuition, so don't ask how I know.
Yesterday was interesting day-of-the-week #3. Had a toy-outing with some peeps from the cave, Eva and Jaime. Was suppose to meet at Chinatown MRT at 4pm, but because of someone *stares at Lion*, Parrot, Lion and I were late. Oh yes, Lion is called Lion because of that Courtesy Lion tee. It's a sad way to remember someone by but... I'm a rather sadistic person... Before that, Parrot and I went guitar hunting again (cos Wednesday we went, but the shops closed... sadly... T_T). Bought a guitar. Left it with Jaime. So no pics. And I missed it badly. But it's white, and uber expensive T_T And the cover is uber itchy. Should have left Parrot carry it for me all the way... Muahaha. Maybe I should drag my minions out next time I decide to do some more heavy-duty shopping... Hehe... Parrot didn't get his amp =/ Fast forward to meeting Jaime and Eva at China Square. Bought Danbo of 四葉, 梨花 of ひぐらしのなく頃に *smirks at Chiny* and a cupboard (don't ask, it's a random purchase and I still feel kinda cheated).

Made new friends (sadly I forgot their names, though one of them was a vegetarian I considered feeding bak kwa to...), and saw Ponytail there. Such a coincidence. Don't know why I pretended not to see him... Oh well. After that, we went to have dinner at some street in Chinatown. Eva was like a tourist, snapping at everything remotely interesting looking. Can't wait to see what comics she come up with using those pics. I had Century Egg porridge which was really really yummy. But, why does one feel warm when eating porridge? Anyway, we went off to watch movie at Cineleisure, but Forbidden Kingdom was showing kinda late, so Jaime and I abandoned Parrot and his friends. But all of us went to Bakerzin, and I had some really cool sorbets: Mango, Scarlet (Strawberry+alcohol) and Opera (chocolate)m and a very nice and refreshing Lychee Mint Iceblend, recommended by one of my juniors working there. Cute guy >D Sadly, dad's phone call trashed my mood... So I kinda spaced out most of the time there... *sigh*
Sometimes I just wonder how old do I have to be in order to stay out really really late. I mean, there's no fun going home early, you miss out all the good stuff, and all the precious time you get to hang out with other people. It's not like I don't wanna go back, but dad's being really loopy and scolding me brainless and all that nonsense for things I never did. Simple things like housework gets him all so flared up. Why can't people make life easier for themselves by seeing only the things they want to, doing what they want to instead of getting angry because other people are not doing their job? And I don't remember housework being MY job only. I just don't understand why simple crap like that can agitate people. I wonder if I should just move out and be happy. Or maybe keep spacing out and shutting out all the horrible things being said to me. Firstly, I'm not brainless. If I was, I'd be sold off to China, or wherever. Secondly, I'm not the kind to bother about simple things in life. If it doesn't kill, leave it alone. Life has too many bothersome things that only the senseless would try to solve every single problem. Thirdly, I'm bloody tired. For strange reasons, I've been spacing out, at work, outside, at home. Maybe it's the side effects of the medicines, or maybe the working environment ate my braincells. Whatever.
Bad stuff aside, Mom bought a bungalow for my hamsters. Initially I wanted to let ルル have it, but I guess since ミクル might be pregnant, that cage can house many many hamsters. Whee~ my dream is coming true~ Lala, don't have to give any of them away~ Happiness~
