Masterplan to unite all rodent kind!
aka Split Cage Day 1

Hi everyone! What a wooooooooooooooooooooonderful sunny day today is. And of course it helps that there isn't any school today. Whee! Although I am suppose to go back to do some assignments but... arg, what the hell, screw it, I've got more important things to settle. It' a matter of life and death.

That's right girls, life and death. And I'm attempting to breed a new species of animals. No, just kidding. I never intended for anything out of the ordinary to happen when the lot of us casually strolled in Pets Safari after a heavy lunch + dessert (the moist but not chocolate-y enough Devil's Very Fudge Cake). I came out instead with a box equipped with 6 ventilation holes, a handful of kitty litter and a very feisty she-hamster. Yes... Female... And for those with good memory, ルル is male... *cough* I can't help it. She resembled ルル's behavior much more than the other rodents I see. She's so lovely and gentle and curious and active. And her cuteness blinded me to a fact that her jumping up and down isn't because she's happy to see me. It simply signifies she's Master Escapist in the making... Oh why didn't I see it coming? I lived through 5 months with and escape genius and I failed to recognize trouble when I see one. But, she's cute. And being cute gives her a right to be evil.

Anyway, introducing a new creature to a spoilt antisocial baby of the house was VERY traumatizing.　ルル was a wreck when he smelt her. And when I tried to let him sniff her up close, he just bit her. Poor girl started squeaking, and climbing me, and that was the start of her 'climb Teddy for dear life' habit. Anyway, they got on like cat (ルル) and mouse (ミクル a.k.a Mikuru）. Except, the mouse was happy-go-lucky oblivious to the danger lurking under her and trying to get out of her safe zone and the cat kept getting his nose butted everytime he tried to attack the wheel with her running in it. Oh well. It's alright, I'm gonna persevere and keep up with the split cage method to bring them together.

It doesn't help that ミクル tortures herself by climbing and squeezing out of edges and ルルis dead jealous of her. Why? I love him as much as I will love ミクル。I hate to see them getting hurt and all. It'll be so nice for ルル　to find someone to keep him warm at night and help groom him and play with him after a long while. Don't understand why is he so stubborn. And I feel guilty for bring ミクル home all alone and in a hostile environment. The rest of the family accepted her easily enough because she's so sweet and gentle. Now it's up to ルル.

1 more hour before I swap their compartments. This is scary cos the last time I did that, ルル was a ball of nerves. Well at least he eats, drinks and scratch stuff as usual. Though he does alot of this "forlorn looking abandoned gerbil" look by resting his head on his paws and laying about staring at me with his woe-begone eyes. Alright alright, I'm feeling guilty for alot of things already, but it's for your own good you silly boy.

Bah, time to stab that Ogre once and for all.
